Mike’s passion for excellence prompted him to found Supply Chain Alliance in 1993, and he continues to be a hands-on managing partner to this day. Prior to launching his consulting practice, Mike worked in senior roles at companies such as Magna International and Acco Brands. Mike has spoken at industry conferences and events across North America, and has lectured on supply chain strategy at the Schulich School of Business at York University. Supply Chain and Logistics Canada has named him “Logistician of the Year.” A trusted and highly knowledgeable advisor to C-suite, Mike has worked with organizations such as KKR. ONCAP, TJX, Canadian Tire Corporation, Forzani Group Sports, Polaris International and Indigo.

A supply chain leader for over 20 years, Darryl has a wide range of experience in retail supply chain, third-party logistics (3PL) and transportation. His rational and data-driven approach helps companies solve complex supply chain challenges relating to supply chain strategy, distribution network modeling, interim leadership, DC design, logistics optimization, multi-channel distribution, outsourcing and RFP management, inventory management and optimization, and performance measurement and analytics. Darryl has assessed and provided guidance on best business practices for organizations such as Canadian Tire, TJX Canada, Polaris, Roots, Husqvarna, Whirlpool Canada, Nike, City of Edmonton and the Ontario Ministry of Health.

Marcel has led high-performance teams at leading large-scale organizations for 26 years. He has a proven track record of successfully transforming organizational performance and leading complex improvement projects. His experience cuts across the consulting industry, within omni-channel and ecommerce, as well as manufacturing, marketing and promotions. Marcel is often called upon to balance growth strategies and continuous improvement initiatives with operational performance in the areas of safety, cost, productivity, quality and sustainability. He has worked with companies such as Steeped Tea, Amazon and St. Regis.

Bettina draws on her dedication, passion and wisdom to make sure Supply Chain Alliance runs smoothly. Prior to her current role, she worked as a financial planning analyst, accounting manager and controller for large companies like Pepsi Cola Canada, Campbell Soup, J. Michaels and Dylex.
With her background in retail and food and beverage industries, Bettina extends her professional expertise to help non-profit organizations such as The Village Children’s Programs and Hospice Thornhill.

Diane is a clear-sighted leader who brings strategy to life. She collaborates with executives and cross-functional teams to define goals, clarify objectives, and determine the best plan of action to move strategic initiatives forward and keep them on track during implementation. She specializes in planning and execution of large cross-functional initiatives that involve many diverse stakeholders collaborating across company divisions. Most recently at the LCBO, she directed the IT stream of a program that outsourced fulfilment for three lines of business, including eCommerce, to a 3PL. Her industry experience includes retail, sustainability, government, and information technology for familiar companies such as RBC, Canadian Tire and Ontario Lottery Gaming.

Susan has enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career in the supply chain industry — the last two as part of the Supply Chain Alliance team. She has a talent for implementing long-term outsourced distribution solutions for her clients through cooperative negotiation with global third-party logistics (3PL) leaders.
As a driver of organizational change, her strategic mindset and progressive leadership style have enhanced customer and business development, operations, order management and planning and forecasting for clients such as ICI Canada, CN Rail, DHL, Meridian IQ, Whirlpool Canada and Holt Renfrew.

Gord has worked in supply chain operations and logistics for over 25 years. He joined Supply Chain Alliance seven years ago and has been an invaluable asset ever since. Gord has extensive expertise in sales and operations planning, production and inventory management, project management, system selection and implementation as well as change management.
Gord has helped ensure the continued success of companies such as Jamieson Laboratories, Indigo, Holt Renfrew, Roots Canada, Husqvarna, Rogers and Loblaws.

Akash holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. Prior to joining SCA, he volunteered as a consultant in the non-profit area until he discovered his passion for business intelligence and project management. His experience has given him the ability to conceptualize and present new approaches and ideas when solving business problems and communicate those effectively with customers and within the team.
Starting with SCA as a Business Analyst, Akash used data analytics and visualization tools to communicate key insights to our customers. He will continue to leverage his skills and liaise with customers in his new role as a Business Development Coordinator.

As a supply chain business analyst, Arsalan uses his skills and experience when gathering and analyzing supply chain data to provide clients with meaningful insights. Prior to consulting, Arsalan worked as a collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment analyst at 3M where he was responsible for three of the largest home improvement accounts. Through this first-hand experience, an MBA, and a diploma in supply chain management, Arsalan has developed an impressive analytical and logical toolkit that will be fully leveraged at SCA.

Sahil is a business analyst with extensive experience planning and implementing supply chain optimization projects, specifically in network and transportation optimization. Sahil has a thorough understanding of supply chain data and processes, which he uses to create scenarios that identify areas of improvement and efficiencies for clients. His previous roles have allowed him to develop the exceptional ability to conceptualize large-scale initiatives and anticipate challenges and demands.
He holds a Master's in Global Supply Chain Management and is enthusiastic about the growth and opportunities in the supply chain market.

Richard has worked in supply chain, operational and strategic areas for over 30 years. He began by designing food distribution centres and transport networks and focused for many years on the design, execution and success of high volume distribution centres. Since then, he has worked with some of the world’s leading firms in food, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and spirits (retailers, wholesalers, distributors and 3rd party providers). While focusing on efficiency and effectiveness, Richard also achieves results by creating competitive advantage and growth. As a start-up leader himself, he has unique insight into helping other new companies and those undergoing mergers and acquisitions.
Some of Richard's longest standing clients are Rhee Brothers, McKesson, BC SSO (Labs), Forzani/Canadian Tire, BC Liquor and Metro Canada Logistics.

Mike brings more than 12 years of warehouse operations, supply chain analytics and third party logistics (3PL) outsourcing experience to all of his Supply Chain Alliance projects. His former career as a senior retail executive provides him with a complementary mix of analytical skills and operational knowledge.
Mike has been responsible for numerous cutting-edge developments for a variety of clients such as Stag Parkway, in addition to those in the retail and apparel sectors.

Chris has deep operational experience as a consultant and as a corporate leader, having worked as a controller at Sears Canada with responsibility for the Western distribution centres and then corporate services logistics, prior to joining Supply Chain Alliance 10 years ago. He specializes in data analysis, supply chain finance, and business case development, and holds an MBA and CMA (US), with certifications in CITT and APICS.
Chris has supported companies such as Harley Davidson Canada, the Selfridges Group (Canada, UK, Ireland and Netherlands), Whirlpool Canada, Toys R Us and Gay Lea Foods.
